Although my type of work has adapted to fit the digital age, each project is timeless and speaks soul.

A traditionally
untraditional  perspective.

Ever since I was young, I have held a deep love for visual art. I grew  up painting with watercolors at my kitchen table and taking photos on my parents old FujiFilm cameras.

I was always inspired by film, watching black and white Hollywood classics with my mother, and Bollywood dramas with my father. Learning about art forms and styles from the past left an imprint in me. In all my work, whether it is an oil painting, or a website, I try my dearest to craft something timeless.

Being raised in a small town in Western Pennsylvania gave me a unique perspective. Being one of the only Indian girls in my town made my perspective even more unique.

I longed to meet other girls like me, but there were not many to be found. This yearning led me to learn more about my Gujarati heritage, and introduced me to Indian traditional art forms.

As I entered high school, I spent most of my "elective" classes studying drawing and painting, and incorporating some of these traditional techniques into my art.  I developed a love for oil painting, in which medium I composed most of pieces my final pieces in.

Upon graduation, I struggled to understand how I could utilize my passion and talent in visual arts to support myself and a career.

I shortly found out that one could forge a great path by learning how to create websites, as everyone and every business needs one.

I went on to study Multimedia Design and Business at Juniata College, while working with freelance website design and graphic design clients on the side.

Since graduation, I have worked as a Senior Designer at
WD Strategies, and have continued to take on freelance projects as well.

I now not only paint and draw, but also work in graphic design, UI and UX, branding design, and photography.

Although my type of work has adapted to fit the digital age, each project is timeless and speaks soul.
